 THE MEAL

I told them that
today was 
a Special Day
they would only
understand if they 
served themselves 
for this feast
Independence is my
 lesson for them
tough love
gently given
fruit salad and 
ice cream 
I will thank them
for their efforts 
it is Mother's Day
and I am happy.

    independence is not a bad lesson you know....my wife chose ice cream as her mothers day dinner last night...
